Our Story

Buckhead Synagogue began with a simple idea: to create a place where Jewish life feels warm, meaningful, and open to all.

From the start, the focus has been on people—on building genuine relationships, fostering connection, and bringing Judaism into everyday life in a way that feels relevant and alive. What began as a small, heartfelt vision has grown into a vibrant center serving individuals, families, and children across the Buckhead community.

Here, there’s no single way to belong. It’s about showing up as you are—and discovering inspiration, connection, and purpose through learning, celebration, and shared experience.

Our story continues to evolve with every person who walks through our doors, every relationship formed, and every moment—big or small—that brings Jewish life to life.

Chabad of Buckhead is part of Chabad of Georgia, a statewide network of nearly 25 centers dedicated to Jewish outreach, education, and community.

Our Space

Chabad of Buckhead is rooted in a home—quite literally.

Located within the community, our Chabad shul is a warm space where Jewish life happens naturally and comfortably. It’s where people gather for Shabbat dinners, holiday celebrations, classes, services, and meaningful moments throughout the year. This space is our hub. Everyone feels welcome the moment they walk through the door.

Jewish life at Chabad of Buckhead is vibrant, welcoming, and deeply personal.Whether you are exploring Judaism for the first time or continuing a lifelong journey, we strive to create spaces that feel meaningful, inclusive, and alive with connection.

Through learning, celebration, tradition, and community, Jewish life here is not something you observe — it’s something you live.
