Rabbi Mendel Wuensch
Rabbi Mendel Wuensch is the co- director of CYP Buckhead. A product of The Shul of Bal Harbour, he spent three years leading a vibrant Anglo community in Ir Yamim, Netanya, Israel before making Buckhead home with their three children. Known for his ability to make Torah come alive for a crowd, Mendel loves nothing more than good people, a good conversation, and a reason to celebrate.
Itty Wuensch
Itty Wuensch is the co-director of CYP Buckhead, as well as leads women’s and youth programming for The Buckhead Shul. Raised at The Shul of Bal Harbour, the community her grandparents founded, she carries that legacy of warmth and vision into everything she builds. She is a co-founder of the Jean Schottenstein Oryah Institute in Jerusalem, as well as led the vibrant Anglo community in Ir Yamim, Netanya. Her gift for connecting with people has shaped communities on two continents.
